Laborers' Local 57 Gives Back to the Community

Esteban Vera, Business Manager of Laborers' Local 57, presented a check to Dr. Eileen Coutts the principal of the George W. Childs Elementry School. According to Principal Coutts the charitable donation will be used to purchase gloves, hats, coats and uniforms for students attending the school. George W. Childs Elementry School is located at 1599 Wharton Street, Philadelphia PA 19146. 

Every year the Laborers' District Council LECET fund afford all four local unions (local 57, 135, 332 & 413) from the 5 county areas a "Laborers' Giving Back" event, in the form of either giveaways or donations to a charity of their choice.
