The Basic Blueprint Reading course introduces participants to the fundamentals of reading blueprints. Participants learn about the various signs, symbols, views, and types of blueprints they will encounter in the field. A manual provides relevant information for each chapter, and requires students to find answers to some questions by consulting blueprints that are a part of the curriculum. This practice helps participants work toward becoming proficient in finding information from blueprints, as it mirrors the process used on a jobsite.
