Are you ready to kickstart your health? Come join the LDC Health & Safety Fund for the inaugural Kickstart Your Health Soccer Tournament! Come watch two teams compete and learn all about the health benefits of playing soccer from some of the DMV's greatest players. Soccer, or football as it’s called in many parts of the world, is a sport with a rich history, captivating billions of fans across the globe. It's more than just a competitive game; it’s a full-body workout that provides numerous physical and mental health benefits. Soccer involves various elements of physical exertion, including running, sprinting, jumping, and kicking. These movements target different muscle groups and enhance cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and coordination. It is this diversity in movement that makes soccer one of the most comprehensive sports for improving health. Beginning at 6:00PM, we will have a free health fair to get your biometric health screenings and 7:00pm will start the soccer games. Every game participant must register and sign a waiver upon arrival. We hope to see you there!
