This course looks at some of the hazards and key safety issues related to fall protection. Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to list the OSHA requirements for materials that are acceptable for floor coverings, define and set up a controlled access zone, list spacing and strength requirements for guardrail systems, identify OSHA guardrail violations from jobsite photos, list safety requirements a personal fall arrest system (PFAS) must meet, identify the components of a PFAS and demonstrate proper donning techniques, and explain the requirements for safety net systems used as fall protection.
