The LDC has a proud heritage and an ambitious vision we'd like to share with you. We've been helping members and their families enjoy a better standard of living by providing jobs and benefits since we were chartered in 1937. We believe in the principles that unionism was founded on: a fair day's pay for a fair day's work, and workers' rights. We also believe that next-generation unionism must vigorously pursue workers' rights' based on management and union cooperation and the advancement of member education.
