Sometimes, in the frustration over how much we pay in taxes, it’s easy to forget the benefits that we receive from our government. Today, most government agencies have created websites to help citizens such as us to obtain information, file taxes, check on benefits and tap into any number of additional services we may need. Of course, most of us would be happy to live without government websites if our taxes would go down a little, but that probably won’t happen any time soon. That’s why it makes sense to know what the government offers, and to use the sites whenever possible.
We’ve chosen links that we think are useful, appropriate and relatively simple to use. Although we’ve provided a brief description of each link we’ve selected, the best way to find out which linked site is best for you is to try them all.
