What Traveling Members Need to Do

To make sure that you receive credit for the fund contributions earned when traveling, you must:

• PRIOR to working outside the jurisdictional area of the Laborers District Council of the Metropolitan Area of Philadelphia and Vicinity which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia County make sure that the benefit funds in the jurisdiction you're traveling to ias signed to a reciprocal Agreement with our local funds. 

• Please note that Federal Law does not allow our funds to receive contributions from any fund where there is no reciprocal agreement in place. Therefore,  if you travel to a jurisdiction where there is no reciprocal agreement in place your contributions cannot be transferred to our fund.
